1. What does Rene do that makes him stand out?
Rene continually monitors the conditions at Sapphire and always stays a step ahead. He applies a proactive approach to detail work, pesticide application, and fertilization. Rene runs his crews efficiently while offering guidance and support.
2. How does he impact his team and the branch as a whole?
A friendly smile and dedication make Rene a fixture at the Sarasota branch. He has earned the respect of everyone around him with his knowledge, experience, and work ethic. Working for Rene comes with a unique set of rewards that pushes others to do better and appreciate his praise. Most of all, he is a friendly face who brings much more to the table.
3. Three words to best describe Rene?
Dedicated, respectful, professional.
4. What was a challenge he faced while working, and how did he overcome it?
Rene has been stung on more than one occasion during the time he and I have worked together. I'm amazed at how quickly he can recover from a wasp's fury and return to work as if it never happened!
5. Tell a quick story of one of his best moments.
I came to CEPRA Landscape with a limited knowledge of landscaping and horticulture. Rene welcomed me on day one, making me feel comfortable not having all the answers right away. I lean on Rene for his expertise and appreciate his willingness to educate me. Combating insects, fertilizing, trimming, and watering were all topics about which I had minimal understanding. With Rene's help, we have been able to establish a relationship that fosters a flatter management structure. I empower him with the tools and authority he needs to run his crews while I stay free to manage homeowner issues, monitor costs, and meet expectations. We work well together because we respect one another. I am thankful for his abilities, but more importantly, his friendship.

1. What has been your favorite Project Property that you have been involved with?
The maintenance and upkeep at Sapphire have been rewarding because it poses unique challenges.
2. What do you like most about working at CEPRA Landscape?
I appreciate the safety program at CEPRA. The company also cares about its' workers and their families. Working at CEPRA Landscape helped me get a mortgage for my home because the bank knew the company.
3. What is something most people do not know about you?
I was a singer in a Mexican band years ago and I am a volunteer at my church.
