Questions for the Manager
1. What does Jamie do that makes him stand out?
Always giving 110% while being fair with his crew members.
2. How does he impact his team and the branch as a whole?
We can always depend on his sense of responsibility to the work product he produces.
3. Three words to best describe Jamie?
Dedicated, responsible, detailed.
4. What was a challenge he faced while working, and how did he overcome it?
His crew in particular was shorthanded going into the fall. Missing 1 person. Through flexibility and teamwork, he was able to complete his assigned duties that minimized the impact on the management of other crews. We barely felt the impact of him missing 25% of his crew.
5. Tell a quick story of one of his best moments.
The story above may be better fitting for this question. However, it's difficult to pinpoint 1 particular story or event. Simply because this is what he does 99% of the time. Another story I love to share, I was riding with Rob, a Co-Founder/Co-Owner of CEPRA. When riding past Jamie, we noticed he was mowing with only about 75% of his mower deck. We stopped and tested about 5 different theories over approximately 3 hours. We found, given the mulching kits, chutes being blocked in the middle of summer growth. Cutting with 75% of your deck at approximately 50% speed was the most efficient way to mow, these areas to best balance bogging of the PTO system, speed of completion and overall quality of a SINGLE pass, eliminating the need for a 'double-cut.'

Questions for the Employee

2. What do you like most about working at CEPRA Landscape?
The consistent schedule we keep as a company and willingness to bring over the good people to CEPRA that he has worked with, for so many years.
3. What is something most people do not know about you?
He has an Electric RC Car Collection. He no longer races them in amateur events. But he does have 1 Race Car and 3 Rally Trucks.
