Five Years of CEPRA and the Parable of the Chinese Bamboo Tree

On February 5th, 2020, CEPRA Landscape celebrated their 5-year anniversary. The last five years have been filled with early mornings and late nights. Struggles and triumphs. Heartaches and happiness. Our team has learned to enjoy the process and embrace the challenges along the way.

We've seen our team display the determination and grit it takes to stand out in the green industry. It's been exciting to see our team develop into proven leaders.

Our fifth year mirrors the beginning life stages of the Chinese Bamboo Tree. Just as any plant, the Chinese Bamboo Tree requires nurturing and the proper mix of water, nutrients, and sunshine. In its first year, the Chinese Bamboo Tree has no visible signs of growth above the soil. In years two, three, and four, the results are similar. While it receives nurturing in the first four years, there are very few visible signs of growth. In the fifth year, seemingly out of nowhere, the Tree springs up to over 80 feet tall in just a few weeks. The fifth year is where the results were dramatic, but the first four years were equally important for developing a strong root system in order to sustain the tree's rapid growth.

Like the Chinese Bamboo tree, CEPRA has invested heavily in our teams and systems in order to support impressive growth for the years to follow. As we celebrate our five-year anniversary, we are equally excited about what the next five years may encompass.
